The night was a different one. It was almost like Halloween had come early on Dancing With The Stars with all of the couples performing with a TV show theme. As we found out last week, Nick and Sharna had a Downton Abbey themed Viennese Waltz and, judging by their previously performed Foxtrot, we were sure it would sweep us off of our feet.
We werent wrong.
While the opening package showed signs of struggle with rehearsals this week, you wouldnt have known by the time Team SharNick entered the ballroom. Dressed in a tailed tux and a beautiful gown, Nick and Sharna waltzed as if they had been doing so for years. The couple totally encompassed the epic love story of Downton Abby characters Matthew and Mary and delivered a ballroom dance better than any other this season so far (and no, were not being biased).
Their hard week of rehearsals all paid off when Nick and Sharna were rewarded with four 9s from the judges again tying them for highest score of the night (this time, with Alexa Penavega). We could not be more proud of Team SharNick and were not the only ones - #TeamSharNick was a trending topic on Twitter tonight for nearly an hour!
Also on Dancing With The Stars tonight, they announced that they WILL be bringing back the Switch Up Night, which means for ONE WEEK, youll get to pick who Nick dances with. Love Lindsay, Anna, Witney, Emma, or another pro? Vote to see her dance with Nick right here. Have no fear, after the night is over, Nick and Sharna will be back together!
