Week 8 ofDancing With The Starsbrings about new oppurtunities for the celebrities and their pros and a new way for viewers to get involved.
This week on DWTS is icon week, which refers to influential figures in the celebritys life. Given the potential Carter baby news that dropped last week that has yet to be confirmed by Nick or Lauren and the fact that hes dancing a contemporary routine to t Help Falling In Love, we have an inkling who it might be for Team SharNick. Nick tweeted on Sunday that its sure to be an emotional night and we cant wait!
So, whats different this week? Theres an immunity up for grabs that will put one couple straight through to Week 10! The couple with the highest judges scores tomorrow night (or tonight, depending on when you read this) will be granted immunity, keeping them safe from elimination in the following week. The couple will also get 3 points added to their score.
The six couples that do not receive immunity will go head-to-head in a dance off voted on by America (live during the East coast show). Viewers who vote during the dance-off onABC.comwill have their votes combined with the judges votes and the winning couple will add an extra two points to their overall score for the night. (International Fans - you can download a proxy to be able to vote on ABCs website)
Besides voting for Team SharNick in the dance off, you will also need to vote for them as normal, in case they do not win immunity.
